Coach-built
SignalBand is designed around live game flow, quick taps, and clear player communication.
Born in North Carolina. Built for coaches.
Jamie Gregory is the founder and president of SignalBand LLC, a North Carolina-built company focused on practical, no-subscription electronic pitch and play calling for baseball and softball teams.
The story
Jamie is a husband and father to two daughters, ages 15 and 7, and is married to his beautiful wife. Sports are part of everyday life in the Gregory family, and that perspective matters: SignalBand was not created from a boardroom. It was created from practices, games, dugouts, and the real communication problems coaches face.
By day, Jamie works as a Test Engineer. On the field, he coaches varsity softball at Revolution Academy. He played sports throughout middle school and high school, so he understands both sides of the game: what coaches need to communicate quickly and what players need to receive clearly.
SignalBand started as a solution for Jamie's own softball team. The goal was simple: give players a clean wrist display, give coaches a fast control screen, and avoid the yearly subscription fees that make other systems hard for many programs to justify. As the system improved, it became clear the product could help more teams.
SignalBand is designed around live game flow, quick taps, and clear player communication.
Jamie brings a test engineer's mindset to reliability, setup, field use, and constant improvement.
The system is built so teams can own their software instead of renting it every season.
Customers work directly with SignalBand for setup, support, tweaks, and questions.
"I built SignalBand because I wanted something simple, reliable, and fair for teams. Coaches should be able to call the play without paying a yearly fee just to communicate."
